(map)
Improv teams from around San Diego county will compete to take the top prize in High School improv comedy, including Coronado High School, last year's winning team! This year, 15 schools will be competing at the National Comedy Theatre in Mission Hills in the two-day tournament. This is Coronado High School’s third year competing! Fans of Coronado High School are encouraged to support their team, as audience participation is a major part of the performance. Schools perform a competitive improvisational comedy show, made up right there on the spot, which is judged by NCT’s Improv experts. If Coronado’s team wins again, they will compete against NCT’s Mainstage team the following Friday!

You can come support and laugh with Coronado High School on April 25th at 4pm & April 26th at 3pm.
On Sunday April 26th awards of merit and the ultimate winner will be announced starting at 5pm.

When: April 25th & 26th 10am-6pm
Where: National Comedy Theatre - 3717 India Street San Diego, Ca 92103

About the High School League: The National Comedy Theatre teaches high school students how to create their own improv team and perform improvised shows on stage. Throughout the school year workshops are held on the campuses and shows are performed throughout S.D. County. Teams travel to other schools to perform against them and host shows at home.

About the National Comedy Theatre: The National Comedy Theatre is competitive, team improvisational comedy played just like a sport.  Two teams go head-to-head on stage in a battle for laughs. Because the comedy is improvised, fans never see the same match twice. All shows are CLEAN, and it is appropriate for all audiences.
National Comedy Theatre Main Stage shows are every Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and 9:45.
