6th Grade Camp

Plans are being made for your 6th grade child’s attendance at Camp Cuyamaca the week of September 30 – October 4, 2013. We are excited to support this once and a lifetime experience for your child offered through the San Diego County Office of Education which has been conducting such camps for over 65 years! Trained outdoor-education teachers will work with the children in the study of conservation, nature, science, and related subjects. It is a period of learning and experimentation in a camp environment. Most of our CMS teachers will accompany the students to camp and will remain with them during the full session.

The cost for the camp program is $290.00. This charge includes camp fee, food, lodging, insurance, and transportation to and from camp. If you need financial assistance or arrangements to make payments, please contact CMS secretary, Kelley Englehart, in writing. We will do everything we can to accommodate your individual needs so that your child will not miss this wonderful opportunity. The Health and Registration form, completed and signed by the parent, must be returned by Friday, September 13th. Additionally, the cash payment or check for camp can be made payable to Coronado Middle School and must be returned to the middle school office by Friday, September 27th.
