Haiku President and Co-Founder visit Coronado Middle School

Last Friday the Haiku President and Co-Founder Allen Angell brought teams of educators through our middle school to discover how the Haiku learning management system supports teaching and learning in the Coronado classrooms.  The teams were administrators and teachers from Corona-Norco Unified School District, Del Mar Union School District, and the Laguna Beach Unified School District.  Jay and Karin led the group through the fabulous instructional methods we us to deploy the Learning Management System.  Also in the group of visitors were two celebrities.  Former San Diego Unified School District Chief Information & Technology Officer Barbara Allen and Tom Greaves, CEO and Founder of the Greaves Group will be our two special guests. The 2015 Vision & Outstanding Leadership Award winner Thomas Greaves has also has provided the latest national research on 1:1 learning initiatives through the Project Red research. Barbara is now the liaison between CFF and seven local school districts as they implement a variety of 1:1 learning initiatives.  Coronado Unified School District is a part of the collaborative called Team RED.  The Team Red Collaborative is investigating how to integrate successful educational technology programs with business strategies that preserve resources and improve efficiency.
