The Lions Clubs of California are holding their 77th Annual Speakers Contest
Topic: Community Service - What Does it Mean and Why Does it Matter?
Date: Coronado Lion’s Club is holding the Club Level Contest on February 11, 2014
Location: Winn Room of the Coronado Public Library from 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Prizes: Finalists in the Coronado Club Contest will receive $25.00
The Winner of the Club contest will receive $75.00 and the opportunity to compete at the Zone Contest, and if successful, at the Region and District with a chance for scholarships totaling $20,000.
Rules: Speeches should be as close to, but not exceed, 10 minutes in length.
Notes: Students are allowed to read the speech at the Coronado Club level.
Eligibility: Students in the 9 – 12th grades, who live or go to school in Coronado, are eligible to compete in the Coronado Lion’s Club Contest.
