CUSD Public Comments During the COVID-19 Local Emergency

The Board of Education is interested in hearing your comments on any Agenda Item or General Public Comment during our Board Meeting. In the interest of reducing the spread of COVID-19, members of the public are encouraged to submit their comments in one of two ways:

Please call (619) 522-8900 ext. 1025 and leave a message (not to exceed three (3) minutes).

Submit a Written Comment

If you would like to submit a written comment for the meeting (not to exceed 250 words per agenda item/topic), please submit your comment no later than 1:00 p.m. on the day of the Regular Board Meeting. All comments received after 1:00 p.m. will be shared with the Board and added to the minutes of the meeting.

Public Comments at Regular Board Meetings: Anyone wishing to address the Board on agenda, non-agenda, and/or Closed Session items may do so. Individual speakers will be limited to three minutes. Total public input on any one subject will be limited to twenty minutes and may be extended at the discretion of the Board President. Comments on an agenda item may be taken when the agenda item is discussed by the Board. Comments on non-agenda items will be heard before the Consent Motion if there are three speaker cards or less per topic. If there are more than three speaker cards per topic, then the comments from the audience may be held until the end of the agenda.

Public Comments at Special Board Meetings: Anyone wishing to address the Board on agenda items may do so. Individual speakers will be limited to three minutes. Total public input on any one subject will be limited to twenty minutes and may be extended at the discretion of the Board President. Comments on an agenda item will be taken when the agenda item is discussed by the Board.
